Wow! I’m still buzzing, having just landed from launching evolu into Singapore. It was a busy time, with my flight arriving from Paris at 7am, then into town by 10 am, in time to prepare for the launch event from 11.30am til 2pm. Then interviews and more meetings, and finally a divine foot massage and spa before hopping on to my overnight flight back to Auckland!
Brief though my stopover was, the event was a great success, and the venue was stunning. It was held at One Rochester, which is one of a collection of 1930’s heritage colonial houses, on a hill off Rochester Park. You walk into lush tropical gardens and are instantly in a chilled-out environment, not far from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The perfect atmosphere to launch evolu botanical skincare to an impressive group, including buyers from John Little, Robinsons, Takashimiya, BGH and Metro Department stores, and media people from at least fifteen different publications.
The New Zealand Trade Commissioner, Zeina Jalil, opened the event with a warm and meaningful speech, and I then proceeded to introduce the guests to evolu. There were several evolu displays, which gave guests the opportunity to trial the products, and allowed me the opportunity to discuss in more detail products that would suit their individual needs.
Then the skies opened in true equatorial fashion! But typically the rainstorm was brief and we were graced with stunning sun and warmth to finish the afternoon off.
evolu is currently stocked in John Little at three locations with other stockists to be announced as they come on board. On this short clip you can listen to Shirley Lee, John Little’s Senior Cosmetics Buyer, sharing her positive experience of the Facial Exfoliator:
I’m looking forward to my next trip to Singapore when we’ll plan special events for the consumers to enjoy.
